Continuous Defense in the Age of AI: AI-Driven Risk Reduction with Tenable One

On-Demand

Leverage frontier AI models, open-source AI frameworks, and temporal tracking to automate security operations and accelerate risk reduction across your enterprise.

Traditional security tools simply cannot keep pace when analysts have to manually sift through telemetry, plot potential attack paths, and track security trends across disparate systems.

Watch as we explore how integrating frontier AI models, open-source AI frameworks, and dynamic temporal tracking into the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform creates a proactive defense that accelerates risk reduction and frees up your team to focus on strategic priorities. We’ll also open the floor for an interactive session to answer your direct questions about getting the most out of your Tenable environment.

What we explore:

  • Adversary View (Powered by Anthropic’s Claude Mythos 5): Discover how bringing Anthropic’s frontier Claude Mythos 5 model directly into Tenable One provides advanced cyber reasoning to reconstruct complex attack paths, giving you a true attacker-eye view to break threat progression.
  • Trending Widgets: Learn how to visualize findings and asset risk over time using dynamic line-chart widgets, making it seamless to measure continuous risk reduction and demonstrate ROI to executive leadership.
  • Tenable Cyber Exchange: Get an inside look at the industry’s first open-source, vendor-neutral hub for security AI agents, skills, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers—designed to unite and scale decentralized security automation.

Continuous defense in the age of AI

In this webinar, we explore how you can use AI-driven risk reduction with Tenable One to automate proactive defense. We cover new capabilities like Adversary View, trending widgets, and the community-driven Cyber Agent Exchange.

[00:04:30] Adversary View and AI-driven exposure management

We discuss how integrating frontier AI models into Tenable One transforms exposure management by moving beyond simple bug finding to uncovering deeper attack paths.

  • OpenAI and MITRE integration: We partnered with leading AI organizations to bring advanced reasoning capabilities directly into your workflow, helping you better understand and prioritize cyber risks.
  • Exposure management versus frontier models: While AI models can easily find vulnerabilities, exposure management helps you determine if those vulnerabilities matter to your business by automating proactive defense.
  • Attack path analysis versus Adversary View: Think of attack path analysis as standard airport security scanning for known threats, while Adversary View acts as a targeted hand-search, using AI to reason over specific assets and find complex attack paths that lack written rules.
  • Actionable mitigation: Triggered via Hexa AI, Adversary View maps the attack route, provides raw scan evidence, and offers specific remediation steps to secure your environment.

[00:16:53] Trending widgets in Tenable Vulnerability Management

We recently introduced trending widgets to Tenable Vulnerability Management, allowing you to track your cyber exposure data over time.

  • Custom and pre-built widgets: You can add pre-built trending widgets from the library or create custom line charts to track vulnerability counts, scan health, and mitigation progress.
  • Historical tracking: Once added to your dashboard, these widgets immediately start collecting and visualizing data over time, giving you a clear view of your risk trends.
  • Multi-line analysis: You can plot up to five custom data lines on a single trending widget to compare different vulnerability metrics side by side.

[00:22:24] Automating workflows with the Cyber Agent Exchange

The Cyber Agent Exchange is a community-driven, vendor-agnostic hub optimized for Tenable One, designed to help security teams share and scale AI capabilities.

  • Open ecosystem: You can access and contribute AI agents, tools, playbooks, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to enhance your security operations.
  • SOC Hunter skill: This self-improving threat hunting tool turns your terminal into a structured investigation workspace, cutting proactive hunt times by up to 75% and covering over 70 MITRE ATT&CK techniques.
  • Community use cases: Explore a variety of community-built solutions, from vulnerability analysis browser extensions to custom portals for tracking end-of-life software and comparing scan deltas.

[00:30:50] Q&A and technical deep dives

We addressed several pre-submitted and live questions regarding operations in Tenable Security Center and Tenable Vulnerability Management.

  • Tenable Core updates: We release OS updates for the Tenable Core virtual appliance every two to three weeks, following rigorous internal testing to ensure uninterrupted operation of your scanners and applications.
  • Managing asset identifiers: To prevent duplicate assets from merging in Tenable Security Center when scanning cloned golden images, you must clear the unique identifier (UUID) registry keys before cloning the machine.
  • Continuous assessment versus triggered scans: While triggered scans run at a specific point in time or schedule, continuous assessment monitors your existing software inventory and updates your vulnerability findings in real time as new cyber threat data becomes available.
